PAST SOCIALS:
Our annual Trafalgar Dinner, held on Friday 21st October, saw a record number of guests this year with over 100 sitting down to a fabulous 3 course meal, followed by cheese and port. The event, which was a sell-out, was once again co-ordinated by Mr Tony Corrigan who works tirelessly to make this celebratory dinner the success it is.
Our guest speaker this year was Surgeon Commander Peter Brinsden RN, the Vice President of the Nelson Society, who gave an enlightening talk about Lord Nelson entitled ‘The Immortal Memory’. Speeches were also given by Prof Fred Weeks and Mr Corrigan himself.
Grace was said by Lt Cdr Tony Pinney, with the loyal toast being given by Commodore, Mr Chris Arscott and the Vote of Thanks by Mr James Bremridge.
