UK FASTNET 6.50 2009

The third UK Fastnet for the Mini 6.50 class starts this Sunday, 5th July.
The race has been extended to 720nm and now goes via the Needles to the Fastnet and back to RWYC.

The boats carry trackers and their progress can be followed on www.rwyc.org/mf09. Follow the link for further details of the race and competitors.

OSTAR 2009 - The Original Singlehanded Transatlantic Race departed from Plymouth to Newport, Rhode Island on 25th May 2009.

ROUND BRITAIN & IRELAND 2010 - The next race will be sponsored by “VISITSHETLAND” and will Two-Handed, for Mono and Multihull Yachts between 30’ and 50’ in length. It will start on Sunday 6th June 2010 from Plymouth. Details and Notice of Race here

HOUSE & SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

Bistro Night - Friday night is Bistro Night at the Club. Come along and enjoy our superb cuisine freshly prepared by our Head Chef, Giles Davidson.

Amendments to 2009 Summer Programme - Please note that on Sundays between 1st April and 30th September, the bar will close at 1800hrs unless members are present, in which case it will remain open until 1900hrs.

Sunday Lunch - From Sunday 21st June there will be a new look to our Sunday lunches.
Our popular carvery will be supplemented with chefs salad of the day and a small a la carte menu.
