Championships
Taking advantage of the protected waters of Plymouth Sound and the open waters of the Western Approaches, the Royal Western Yacht Club regularly hosts both Class and National championships.
The race management team includes international, national and regional race officials who are dedicated to running professional events and achieving excellence in race management standards. As well as supporting events locally, the RWYC race management team are often called on to run National and International events.
In 2011, the RWYC will be hosting the Squib Nationals and it’s new biennial regatta Plymouth Race Week 2011 with the Mini Championships returning to Plymouth waters in 2012.
