THE COURSE

This year the Barratt UK Fastnet 6.50 course has been extended to 720nm.

The course leads from the start (on the Eastern side of Plymouth Sound - depending on the weather) to a windwark mark leaving the Sound through the Western Entrance, out to Eddystone then East to the Needles Fairway buoy.
From the Needles, the course is West to Bishop Rock and across to the Fastnet Rock.

The return from Fastnet is round the Cork Fairway buoy and directly back to Plymouth to finish on the Club Line in front of the RWYC Clubhouse.
