This year's UK Fastnet 6.50 starts 5^th July

The Royal Western Yacht Club is proud to announce the third running of the UK Fastnet 6.50 for the Mini 6.50 class.
Starting on 5th July 2009 in Plymouth, this year's UK Fastnet 650 has been extended to 720nm, and is open to all Mini Class boats, both Production and Prototype. The race departs Plymouth for the Needles, Bishop Rock, Fastnet Rock, Cork and finishes in Plymouth, a distance of 720nm. Entries are up on last year with 15 confirmed entrants and still more to come. The Royal Western Yacht Club has always been in the forefront of shorthanded sailing since the start of the famous OSTAR in 1960 and are pleased to continue supporting this very exciting class of boat in the UK.
