ENB CONSULTING
ENB CONSULTING was built in 1992, purchased by Brian in 1999 and refitted in the Virgin Islands. ENB CONSULTING confirmed her strong offshore credentials in a stormy 26 day Transatlantic delivery the following year. The design offers proven sea keeping qualities, plenty of speed and comfortable crew and galley arrangements. She is the second Twiggy to participate in the Round Britain & Ireland race. ENB CONSULTING follows the original 'Twiggy', sailed by Ian Johnstone and Cathy Hawkins from Australia to enter the 1980 race.
ENB CONSULTING has been continuously improved in the UK, undergoing a full sail and rig development programme since 2001. As a design from the 1980's she foreshadows many design features found in ORMA 60 trimarans, such as square dimensions, which generate large righting moment, a rotating wing mast and novel high buoyancy hull sections. ENB CONSULTING is entirely of wood and is constructed in cold moulded luan over douglas fir frames and stringers.

Skipper
Brian Wilkinson. Brian (47) re-commenced sailing in 1994, scaling up rapidly from a Wanderer dinghy to F18 catamarans, which he raced on the open circuit and in European and UK national championships. Brian is the owner and skipper of ENB CONSULTING and competes regularly in Solent-based multihull racing and in the RORC offshore series in the English Channel.
Brian and Graham share their family name by coincidence and partnered for this race as a result of their membership in Petit Bateau, the UK's short handed sailing group.
Co-Skipper
Graham Wilkinson. Graham (45) has raced dinghies and offshore boats from the age of about 10, starting in Enterprises, then moving on to 505's and a series of offshore monohulls.
In 1998 he took a break from racing, selling his Sigma 33 and buying a Catana 43 catamaran to do a one-year Atlantic circuit with his wife Louise and their children, who were then aged 6 and 4. Having got to Trinidad in time for Carnival, the trip back across the Atlantic looked too much like hard work, so they carried on westward, eventually completing their circumnavigation in a little under 6 years.
On their return Graham bought a Flying Fifteen, ( "no engines , electrics or electronics to maintain - bliss") , which he sails at Carsington Water in Derbyshire and on the open circuit.
